Will Heian Era Sukuna Overwhelm Gojo Satoru?

The ending of Jujutsu Kaisen with Sukuna's victory garnered a lot of attention and debates on who would triumph in a hypothetical battle between Heian Era Sukuna and Post-time Skip Gojo. Let's break down the potential outcome of this impressive duel.

Understanding Sukuna's Capabilities

Sukuna, known as the King of Curses, possesses a plethora of powerful cursed techniques. Primarily, these include:

Cleave: A devastating technique for cleaving enemies. Dismantle: Disintegrating or breaking apart enemies. Divine Fire/Fuga/Unknown Fire Abilities: Adding fire to his arsenal, enhancing his destructive powers. Reverse Cursed Techniques: Countering and weakening cursed magics. Domain Expansion - Malevolent Shrine: Expanding his domain to entrap and control his opponents. Hollow Wither Basket: A tool for deteriorating and weakening his foes. Domain Amplification: Making his domain capable of countering a variety of attacks. Four Arms: Giving him a significant physical edge against single opponents.

He has the advantage of using his immense strength and cursed techniques to maintain his superiority over Gojo in a physical duel.

Examination of Gojo's Strengths

Gojo, on the other hand, has:

Cursed Technique Amplification - Blue: Enabling him to amplify the effects of cursed techniques. Cursed Technique Reversal - Red: Reversing the effects of cursed techniques against him. Hollow Purple: A cursed technique that causes severe damage and mental anguish. Reverse Cursed Techniques: Countering and weakening cursed magics. Domain Expansion - Infinite Void: A domain that can nullify many other abilities and defenses. New Shadow Style Simple Domain: A unique domain for countering the presence of multiple foes. Falling Blossom Emotion: Confusing and destabilizing his opponents.

Both Sukuna and Gojo are formidable opponents with their unique set of abilities. While Sukuna has the advantage of physical strength and multiple arms, Gojo has his unique defenses and abilities to counter almost any attack.

Domain Clash and Strategic Advantages

The key to the outcome lies in the use of domains. Sukuna's domain, the Malevolent Shrine, doesn't have a barrier, allowing him to break Gojo's domain from the outside. Furthermore, Gojo's defenses and abilities would only provide temporary relief. His infinite void and Falling Blossom Emotion could potentially cancel each other out, giving Sukuna an upper hand.

However, there is a strategic way for Gojo to achieve victory. If Gojo prepares to teleport out of Sukuna's domain or catches Sukuna off-guard, he can escape the domain clash, rendering Sukuna's domain useless. Gojo can then unleash his most devastating attacks, such as the Hollow Purple, outside of Sukuna's domain, dealing severe damage without the need to neutralize the powerful Infinity.

Given these considerations, Sukuna, despite his immense power, may not surpass Gojo in a direct confrontation. Gojo's strategic thinking and ability to outmaneuver his opponent could potentially give him the upper hand.

Conclusion and Opinions

This is my take on the battle between Heian Era Sukuna and Post-time Skip Gojo. What do you think?
