The Anger of Hulk: When Does He Turn Back Into Bruce Banner?
The Fury of Hulk: When Does He Turn Back Into Bruce Banner?
When the Hulk is out in all of his green glory, you really don't want to piss him off. Because the angrier he gets, the stronger he becomes without limit. Seriously, if you piss him off enough, he can smash planets with a single punch and even break through dimensional barriers. Once the Hulk's motor is going, he will never turn back into Banner until he calms down and becomes not angry. In fact, in some depictions, the angrier the Hulk gets, the more feral he becomes, as Banner is pushed deeper and deeper into the back of the Hulk's subconsciousness.
Unmerging of Banner and Hulk
Yes, there was a time when Banner and the Hulk personas had been merged into what has come to be called the Professor by fans. I don't think Marvel ever used the name officially. During this phase, he was working with a group called the Pantheon. However, a part of Banner was always afraid of one more... Transformations and Calming
The Hulk becomes a rampaging and unstoppable monster with incredible strength and power. When the threat that threatens him is defeated or totally smashed, he calms down and transforms back into the gentle Bruce Banner. In some cases, the more rage he builds up, the stronger he gets. It is calming down that brings back Banner. The transformations occur under extreme pressure, stress, anger, outrage, anguish, frustration, or when his life or a loved one is threatened, or during extreme pain and physical trauma, usually causing loads of adrenaline in his blood.
Hulk's Transformation Mechanism
The Hulk transforms when his adrenaline levels and pulse rise above a certain level. Anger can cause these levels to rise, leading to the transformation. The specific trigger points for the transformation can differ depending on the narrative and the story's context. For instance, in some depictions, intense rage or anger are the primary triggers for the Hulk's transformation, while in others, it can be less specific forms of extreme agitation or stress.
Professor Hulk: Return to Bruce Banner
If you mean ldquo; Can Professor Hulk ever shrink down to normal again?rdquo; the answer is… maybe. One day, he might find a way to shrink down and bulk back up without losing himself in a rage-fueled fugue state, as was common in the past. This would be convenient if he wanted to learn martial arts, which would be easier for him as an average guy, and would make him even more badass as the now-jolly green giant. If you meant exactly what you said lsquo; Can Professor Hulk return to Bruce Banner again?rsquo; then, IMHO, you're under a misapprehension. Professor Hulk IS Bruce Banner—the brains and the brawn together at last in one person. The Professor version of the Hulk is a fusion of both personalities, blending the intelligence and control of Banner with the raw power and ferocity of the Hulk.
