Frankly speaking, no one really knows how powerful he truly is, especially if he could master both. Ichigo, too, has grown immensely in power, and we're not sure how powerful he is either.

Further, Gerard the Valkyrie had an interesting power. For all intents and purposes, his power is best described as a pseudo-unconscious probability manipulation. Essentially, he doesn't exactly control it when it happens but doesn't recognize a situation that would warrant it. Once he recognizes a situation is unfavorable, his powers make it so that he will survive by giving him more power or by making him lucky. Furthermore, his true powers are so immense that Gremmy killed himself by trying to imagine that he had the powers of Kenpachi. And that's just insane.

However, many fans believe that Ichigo's Quincy powers are some kind of fate manipulation or the capability of challenging fate. This is equally as insane. With Ichigo being the main character, my money would be on him for that reason alone. Additionally, Ichigo's true powers are still largely undefined, leaving room for further development. Therefore, I believe Ichigo has the greater potential for development and versatility.
