How Did You and Your Best Friend Meet?

Friendships have a funny way of starting. For me, it all began in middle school during a history class. One day, I was assigned to a project with a classmate I had never spoken to before. We sat next to each other, both in the back rows of the class because our last names started with V and A respectively. At the time, he was a bit reserved and enjoyed the quiet. However, as I got to know him, I discovered he was a real treasure, full of humor and a deep, mature personality. We share many memories together and are still best friends until today.
