Connecting With Dragon Ball Characters: Our Inner Reflection
Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball has captured the hearts of many with its groundbreaking characters, thrilling action, and deep personalities. When it comes to identifying with the numerous Dragon Ball characters, we often find reflections of our own traits and qualities. In this piece, we explore the reasons why fans relate to certain characters and how it speaks to their inner world.
Relating to Jiren: Trust, Strength, and Justice
Undoubtedly, Jiren is a character that elicits strong emotions. For many like myself, I find a deep connection with Jiren's traits. Much like Jiren, I suffer from a lack of trust in others, combined with a quiet and reserved demeanor. However, I am a strong bodybuilder at heart, and this is where Jiren’s persona as a 'Fighter of Justice' truly resonates. Despite my nature, I find myself reflecting on Jiren's unwavering dedication to his principles and his resilience in the face of any adversity.
Chichi: The Voice for Reason
Chichi, on the other hand, is a character that effortlessly captures one’s inner tribulations. Chichi, a determined and sometimes irritable character known for her relentless fixations, has a lot to say, yet often feels unheard. Much like Chichi, I find myself screaming about issues that matter to me, only to be met with resistance. Whether it's in my personal life or professional endeavors, the struggle to be heard is a familiar experience.
Android 17 and Vegeta: Power and Independence
Android 17 embodies the Dragon Ball ethos of power and independence, resonating with those who value autonomy and strength. Often seen as a self-sufficient and combative character, Android 17 encourages us to break free from societal norms and stand up for our rights, reminiscent of many people who refuse to tolerate insults or subjugation. Vegeta, the arrogant and determined prince, mirrors the daring nature of my own personality, where I refuse to back down from any challenge and stand tall, no matter the obstacles.
Gohan and Cabba: Equality and Growth
Interestingly, a combination of Gohan and Cabba shares a lot of my inner struggles. Gohan, shaped by his strict and often irritable mother, Chi-Chi, and his qualities of being intelligent and friendly, is a complex figure that I can deeply relate to. Just as my upbringing taught me the martial arts, Gohan’s journey into martial arts was driven by familial expectations. Similarly, I can be eager and optimistic about life, much like Cabba, but I’m also capable of erupting with anger if pushed too far. The pacifist side of me loves to engage in friendly interactions, while the fiery aspect demands respect.
A Mosaic of Personalities: Goku and Vegeta
Ultimately, for me, the journey of connecting with Dragon Ball characters is not about choosing one hero or villain. Instead, it's about discovering fragments of ourselves in the mosaic of these characters, where Goku and Vegeta serve as prime examples. I am drawn to Goku’s simplicity and naive yet unbreakable spirit, and Vegeta’s fierce determination and soaring ambition. Embracing the strengths of both, the combination of Gogetta embodies a blend of gullibility and ferocity, making it a perfect reflection of my multifaceted personality.
Through these reflections, we see that the Dragon Ball universe is a mirror to our personal growth, offering us insight into our own inner battles and aspirations. Whether it is Jiren's justice, Chichi's voice, or the power of Goku and Vegeta, the characters of Dragon Ball continue to resonate with fans, painting a vivid portrait of what it means to be human in a challenging world.
