Characters in My Hero Academia Who Can Copy Quirks

My Hero Academia is a popular anime and manga series with a rich world of quirk-powered heroes. While most heroes and villains possess unique quirks, a few characters have the extraordinary ability to copy others' quirks. This unique power can be categorized into direct and indirect methods, highlighting the complexity of this supernatural ability. In this article, we explore the characters and their quirks that grant them the power to copy others' abilities.

Direct Quirk Copying

Neito Monoma

The first and most obvious example of someone with a Quirk that allows them to copy others' abilities is Neito Monoma. His Quirk is Copy. Through physical contact, Monoma can temporarily copy someone's Quirk for 5 minutes, with a maximum of three Quirks at once, but can only use one Quirk at a time. During the 4v4 training arc, he improved his ability to the point where he can hold four Quirks for 10 minutes.

Tamaki Amajiki

A less obvious example is Tamaki Amajiki, whose Quirk is Manifest. With this ability, Amajiki can display traits of anything he has eaten, such as forming appendages from different creatures. He even managed to combine traits to create powerful attacks. During the Shie Hassaikai raid, he consumed a crystal from someone's Quirk and used it defensively.

Indirect Quirk Copying

All For One

Many characters, including All For One, have the potential to copy Quirks indirectly. All For One's Quirk allows him to take other Quirks. If he were to take either Monoma's or Amajiki's Quirk, he could copy Quirks temporarily without needing to obtain them directly.

Star And Stripe

Star And Stripe, with her Quirk New Order, has the ability to create laws that warp reality. While there are limitations, she can potentially mimic the effects of various quirks. For instance, she could make any solid object decay to dust or make objects weightless, effectively imitating specific quirks like Shigaraki's Decay or Ochako's Zero Gravity.

Himiko Toga

Himiko Toga can also copy Quirks through a unique indirect method. By drinking someone's blood, she can use her Transform Quirk to transform herself into them, and after her Quirk Awakening, she can copy the other person's Quirk. This was first seen during the Final War Arc, where she used Ochako Uraraka's Zero Gravity Quirk to attack the Meta Liberation Army, and later during the Final War Arc when she used Twice's blood.

Twice

Twice's Quirk Double allows him to make duplicates of himself and others. His Quirks are copied by the duplicate, enabling him to make more duplicates. However, he requires knowledge about someone to create a duplicate with their Quirk. Unlike some other copyquirk users, Twice's method is indirect, as he needs to know the person's Quirk details.

These characters, with their unique abilities, make My Hero Academia a fascinating series for quirk enthusiasts and fans of the show. Their Quirks add another layer of complexity to a world already filled with extraordinary abilities.
