When it comes to pinpointing the greatest story in the Marvel universe, one might consider some of the most acclaimed and critically acclaimed arcs such as Secret Wars, Heart of the Universe, and Deadpool Kills the Universe. Although these stories are highly entertaining and noteworthy, I find them to be part of a larger canon of characters and events that deeply resonate with me.

It’s a compelling atmosphere of suspense and intrigue, effectively highlighting the consequences of power and the tragic fate that can ensue. However, it doesn’t quite capture my heart in the same way as other stories do.

Deadpool Kills the Universe

Deadpool Kills the Universe (2014) is an explosive arc that sees Deadpool, the irreverent and morbidly humorous anti-hero, wreak havoc on the Marvel universe. In this storyline, Deadpool embarks on a journey to kill every single superhero in the Marvel universe. What follows is a whirlwind of dark humor, character development, and action packed moments. However, like the aforementioned stories, it leaves a mixed impression. While it is undoubtedly entertaining and features some of the best writing from Fabian Nicieza and the memorable artwork from Mark Bagley, my heart remains elsewhere, yearning for a more profound narrative connection.
